Jonathan – it was loads of fun doing the video interview with you: Great Work indeed.

That was so great, and just what I needed on a Monday morning! The name “box of crayons” doesn’t hurt either, since I am still a closet crayon freak even now:)

As I watched the video, I marveled at the fact that it really is just that simple, and yet so difficult at the same time.

    Thank you Michael and Jonathon!

Debbie- me too- I keep a 64 box of Crayolas in my desk just for the “aromatherapy”! Crayon freaks unite!

    • In my color theory class, I recently switched from paint to crayons. Talk about some fun projects! All of my other classmates are jealous they didn’t think of it first. 😀

  4. Great interview; what a wonderful way to start off Monday morning!

Just ran across Michael (from the tour of his office) and will be delving into his blog/site/offerings more later today when I get a chance.

  5. The short movie (via email) pulled me in. Good conversation is always nourishing brain food. This is one piece of the antidote to all the negative noise out there. Thanks for putting this movie and interview up. Keep up the good work…

Jonathan, I just found your blog today, thank you for such great content! I have subscribed via RSS and will keep and eye out for more of the same!

Great interview! Nice to get to “know” both of you.

    Here’s to more great work!

  9. Really enjoyed this one. Michael is full of energy and great ideas. I actually ordered his previous book, the one for generating ideas or jostling creativity with its little flip sections. Can’t wait to get it.

Jonathan! I’m so glad you interviewed Michael. I love him!
I stumbled across his video The 8 irresistable principles of fun a while ago & signed up to his 5 questions email series. It was so much fun,I recommend it to everyone! Thanks for this post!

  11. Great conversation. I can related to the fact the ‘great work’ changes and evolves. There are times when what was once great work for me, is now good work and something else has taken the place of great work.

  12. […] Michael Bungay Stanier – Box of Crayons is a great site for creative inspiration (they focus on developing highly creative, great work at companies). Michael is bundle of enthusiastic, contagious energy. His new book, Do More Great Work,  just came out. I learned about Michael from Jonathan Fields’s interview with him. […]
