Your article is very helpful and I appreciate your taking the time to assemble this collection of wisdom.

I feel compelled to point out a possible error that many in North Carolina would recognize instantly: “Jim Valvano, legendary former NC basketball coach”. Jim Valvano coached NCSU (aka NC State, North Carolina State University). There is a big difference between UNC and NC State (UNC is often referred to as North Carolina). You’re technically correct if you really just meant that Jim Valvano coached in the state of North Carolina, but that isn’t how basketball coaches are usually described.

I hope you don’t take this the wrong way. Obviously this is a minor, nitpicking point in an otherwise excellent article. Probably only a NC State fan would even bother to write this comment…
