I love what you have brought into my life in 2009! Yeah for Jonathan and every time I go back to that old yoga video of yours, extra big smile on my face. I may even have to wear a bandanna next time I do it.

I read "Career Renegade" six months ago and have never been the same. Thank you, Jonathan, for being so awesomely inspiring and helping me to close out 2009 on a positive note. I pray you have a 2010 that absolutely knocks your socks off!

You know, normally these summary posts tend to annoy me, because they just recap things I've already seen. But this post actually helped me discover some awesome posts on your site that I somehow missed.

What I really admire about your writing is how you don't buy into the hype for or against things. When you wrote about job dissatisfaction and the problem with material goods, I admire how you refrained from jumping on the "MONEY IS BAD" bandwagon. You made logical, realistic connections.

And in your post on life purpose, I really liked how you deconstructed the idea of the "one true calling" in a way that made practical sense.

My favorite post so far, I think, is the get a life post. I completely agree that context is as important (or even more important) than content. Great content can help create context (by portraying you as someone worth listening to) but context is what sells. The best personal development teachers are those with great development stories of their own. And while it's not always logical (an insightful message is insightful no matter who says it), the truth is that we care about the messenger as much or more than the message.

My apologies for the long comment; it's just my way of saying thanks for writing this blog. Keep it up! Love to talk sometime.
